Welcome!
We’re glad you’ve paid us a visit in cyberspace and we sincerely hope we’ll see you in person very soon. We think you’ll discover that the Derry Seventh-day Adventist Church is one of the friendliest Christian fellowships you will ever experience. We’re now in our tenth year of ministry in Derry. From our beginnings in rented space at the Odd Fellows Hall, we moved to 7 Brook Street, the long-time home of the Knights of Columbus. A lot of hard work and dedication under the direction of founding pastor Carl Behrmann literally transformed the old building and it now stands proudly as a center for Christian worship and fellowship. |

We meet each Saturday for Bible study (9:30AM) and worship (11:00AM). “Why Saturday?” you might ask. The answer is simple —Saturday is the Bible Sabbath, the day our Lord set aside at creation for rest and spiritual renewal. “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy” He tells us in Exodus 20: 8. And so, out of loving obedience, we gather week by week to sing His praises, testify to His goodness and learn from His Word, the Bible. Sabbaths at the Derry Church are designed to honor God and refresh us as followers of Christ. There are classes for young and old and every week we serve a fellowship luncheon. Join us. Bring a friend. We’re still growing and there’s room for you.
In addition to our Sabbath services, we also meet each Wednesday at 7:00 PM for prayer and fellowship. It’s a mid-week boost that many of our members have come to appreciate. Additionally, in conjunction with the Derry Soup Kitchen, we serve Sunday lunch (at 12 noon) for anyone who stops by. Also, throughout the year, we offer special programming like Vacation Bible School and Bible Prophecy Seminars. Check the current calendar to see what’s going on now.

All the best in Christ Jesus,
